John
Soldano - Director of Dining Services
John
started at Milton Academy in
January of 2006 with over 16 years of
experience managing dining operations at academic institutions –
including
those at Bentley, MIT, and Harvard. At Harvard, John was the two time
recipient
of their Manager of the Year Award. John attended Graduate School at
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Public
Administration,
and received his
B.A. from Belmont Abbey College.
Michael Santoemmo – Director of Catering
Michael
Santoemmo has a Master’s Degree from
Johnson and Wales University and came to Milton in 2005 from Brown
University
where he
was the Director of Catering Operations.
With 15 years of Catering experience, Michael brings with him an
impeccable reputation with a keen eye for detail.
In 2007, Michael won Milton Academy's "Unsung Hero
Award" and Flik's elite "Presidents Award". For more

Andrea
Donofrio –
Executive Chef
Andrea started at Milton
in 2002 and was promoted to Executive Chef in 2006. Her culinary
background includes Legal
Seafood,
Desert Willows in Las Vegas, Raffael’s and 8 years as Executive Chef at
the exclusive Ida
Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI. Andrea is a graduate of Johnson &
Wales
University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management.
Andrea recently completed building her own dream house, a classic log
cabin, in
Halifax,
MA.
During the 07-08 year, Andrea won the
"National Whole Grains Challenge"and Milton Academy's "Staff Service

Benji Solivan - Executive Sous Chef
Benji
came to Milton in 2006 from Starwood Hotels where he was the
Sous Chef. While at Starwood, his property was awarded “Best in Class”
for the
nation. Benji has a Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson and Wales
and has
over 15 years of food service experience. Benji lives in Mansfield,
Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
Paul Kelly - Sous Chef
Paul
has several years experience in food service as
Executive Chef at Worcester and Thayer Academies and Food Service
Director at
Derby Academy. Paul has won a “Best of Boston” award for his Fish
Chowder and
volunteers at the Clara Barton Diabetic Camp in the summer. He lives in
Quincy
with his wife and three children.
Joe Jensen – Satelite Dining Supervisor
Joe has been employed at Milton Academy since 1991. Joe Manages our
satelite dining facilities including the Lower and Middle School lunch
programs.
